At these parties are grouped samples local sports, jumping pastor, club, Canarian wrestling, with demonstrations of farm work such as: wheat threshing, milking goat and beef, crafts basketry, clay, the lace and embroidery, traditional desserts or tin toys.
Easter Week and Corpus Christi.- are living with special devotion in La Orotava. Highlights carpets (in the Octave of Corpus Christi), with the tapestry of the Town Hall of La Orotava which is constructed from the early twentieth century.
The celebrations of Candelaria. – (on August 14) the traditional wreath or pilgrimage of the Virgin with the participation of various folk groups, and staged in the Plaza de la Basilica ceremony appeared to Guanches, according to tradition. This day many pilgrims from all parts of the island come to pay homage to their patron.

The feast of St. Andrew. – On the night of November 29, the wineries open to taste the new wine. We highlight the custom that remain in some populations of the island as La Orotava and Puerto de la Cruz “pots are run”; and in the cobbled streets of Icod, young people pulling on tables spread with oil for steeper streets.
