What data we process and why
When you send an enquiry by email from this website, your name, email address, dates, number of guests and message are delivered to our inbox through our email service provider, Resend. Nothing is stored on the website itself. If you choose WhatsApp, your device opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message and nothing is sent until you decide to send it.
When you contact us or make a booking we process your name, contact details, stay dates, number of guests and any information you choose to share, in order to answer your enquiry and manage your booking (pre-contractual and contractual basis), and to comply with our legal obligations as an accommodation provider, such as the registration of travellers.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry or booking and afterwards for the periods required by law.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. Enquiries sent from the website are delivered by Resend, which acts as our data processor for that purpose. Your data may also be shared with public authorities where the law requires it. If you contact us by WhatsApp or from your own email account, those services process the message under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and data portability, by writing to lascasasdelcaminoreal@gmail.com or to our postal address. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
